Job Description

Summary
I am looking for one or more PAs to support my 92-year-old Aunt to enable her to continue living as independently as possible. As well as having progressive Dementia, she is severely sight impaired.
She manages fairly well with daily living but does require some assistance and most importantly needs someone to monitor her to ensure she is safe and looking after herself properly.
She will require a daily visit (job share considered) and tasks will include providing personal care, medication prompts, assisting with a ready made light meal and some light domestic duties such as washing up.
You should be patient, friendly, understanding and respectful, able to use your own initiative and willing to encourage and motivate my aunt.
Previous experience of working with someone with Dementia would be useful.
Additional ad-hoc hours may also be available to support my aunt.

Additional requirements
• The role requires close personal contact with an individual who is extremely vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission. Preference may be given to applicants who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Careful consideration will be given to applicants who can show the vaccination is not suitable for them on reasonable grounds.
