Summary


We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly organised and motivated receptionist, to join our admin team.

Psychological Therapies are a mental health out-patient department, who work with people experiencing issues such as severe anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, complex trauma etc., in a number of different ways



Psychological Therapies service are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate and highly motivated receptionist to join us, in a challenging but rewarding role.

Applicants will need to have:
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as on their own.
• Excellent telephone manner.
• Provide the highest standard of care.
• Excellent communication, motivation, organisational skills and ability to multi task.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

To provide reception duties, taking phone calls, welcoming all visitors and service users to the unit.

Ensure the reception area is welcoming and tidy at all times

Using intercom system to allow patients to enter and exit the building , including booking them in.

Receive and distribute mail as required.

Update noticeboards and posters.

Maintain healthcare records including computerised systems and databases.

To receive and make internal and external telephone calls from staff/service users, patients, members of the public and external agencies ensuring that messages received are appropriately signposted and actioned.

Input clinical date and maintain.

Word process correspondence including letters, memos and collating reports.
