Summary
Premier Pre are a private yard specialising in producing dressage horses, especially Spanish horses (PRE's). They have a competition rider and trainer who competes the horses for them and also a Grand Prix rider and trainer onsite. They are looking for someone who is able to help with the general yard work, groom and prepare horses for competition, hack out, lunge and plait.
Also someone to help with the mares and foals, lead them in and out of the fields.
Training
All training will be provided on
site during your paid working hours.
Your day to day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination
of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training
Trainer Coach.
Qualifications required
A GCSE or equivalent pass in English
and maths is beneficial but not essential.
If you do not have passes, we will support you in achieving your
Functional Skills English and maths qualifications alongside your apprenticeship.
Skills required
Premier Pre are looking for a candidate who has some experience working with horses and can already hack out.
Prospects
For the right candidate there may be the opportunity to progress with the company.
There will be lots of experience working with stallions, mares and foals. Preparing horses for competition, training with top riders and trainers.
Qualification / Standard : ST0166 Equine groom
Duration 15 months
