About us
All children are special but at RAFAKidz we believe our children are extra special. RAFAKidz is one of the chosen providers of nursery services to the RAF (Royal Air Force). Our nursery at RAF High Wycombe is one of 14 settings in the RAFAKidz family. The nursery itself has around 45 children with spaces in continued demand, supported by a team of circa 12 employees.
About you
You will have lots of stamina, patience, creativity and imagination with an abundance of great ideas to enhance mealtimes. Ideally you will have previous experience within a busy catering environment. The key responsibilities of the role include the planning, preparation and serving of age appropriate, nutritious and well-balanced meals and snacks catering for the children’s individual dietary requirements and food allergies. You will be responsible for the ordering, control, storage and rotation of kitchen stock and ensuring that you and Kitchen Assistants ensure hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchen is of the highest standard in accordance with Environmental Health requirements and legislation. A minimum NVQ Level 2 in food hygiene is an essential requirement for this position (we will provide training to achieve Level 3) along with excellent knowledge of current legislations in Environmental Health and Food Standards Agency
