Join Suffolk County Council's (SCC's) Recruitment, Assessment and Matching Team as a Senior Social Worker, working from Endeavour House, Ipswich.

Your responsibilities
Your role within the team will be:
- Supporting the recruitment of potential Foster Carers and Prospective Adopters
- Undertaking Fostering Form F assessments – Support and training will be provided
- Complete transferring Foster carer assessments
- Co deliver Skills to Foster Training and Fostering Information Evenings

What you will need
- A relevant social work qualification.
- Social Work England registration.

The team:
- is a county wide service to recruit, assess and approve Foster Carers
- supports the matching of Foster Carers with long term foster placements
- is supportive and is keen to review and update best practices to ensure we can support those we work with to support the needs of children
- are busy, friendly and highly supportive with lots of creative ideas and a shared passion in approving Foster carers to support our children in care.
