West Calder High School is a six-year non-denominational comprehensive school offering our students a progressive, relevant, challenging and enjoyable curriculum with opportunities for personalisation and choice. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team in order to support our CDT faculty and construction program.
You must possess a minimum of a SCOTVEC or equivalent qualification in a relevant trade is essential. Good communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work with others as part of a team or on your own initiative, and work responsibly with young people.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
