Summary

Job objectives and responsibilities

Front of House/Switchboard Operatives are the first point of contact for our Estee Lauder visitors and callers. They are an essential part of the High touch workplace experience within the Estée Lauder offices.

Greeting visitors and providing a professional reception service to Estée Lauder employees and all visitors to the building. You'll be helpful in providing guidance, advice, and all relevant information to guests/staff and if not able to do so, direct them to other members of staff who can assist.

All UK&I calls for Estée Lauder Companies are received by the FOH/switchboard operative in the Fareham office. This role will be responsible for ensuring that customers calls are answered in a professional and timely manner.



Strong communication and customer service experience is required to ensure we provide clear and supportive This role will also be trained to provide cover if required for other areas of the client facing team - such as post room and scheduling - to really drive the one team culture across the whole Workplace Team.

Main duties

● To greet guests upon arrival and ensure they receive a high touch experience

● To follow the visitor signing in process

● To ensure that the site rules are enforced

● To answer calls within a timely and professional manner

● To work as part of the soft services team and multi skill in all positions including, but not limited to, soft service support team.

● To have a full working knowledge of the building including all services

● To carry out basic maintenance tasks as required

● Full understanding of the scope of the wider FM provision
