Summary
Join our well-established fulfilment company as a Warehouse operative in Slough to work as a warehouse operative/forklift driver.
Location: Slough
Hours: 8am-5pm
Shifts: Monday to Friday
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Responsibilities: Safely and efficiently operate counterbalance forklifts in compliance with company procedures and safety regulations. Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, racks, and other storage areas. Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse or production facility. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on forklift equipment to ensure proper functioning. Adhere to inventory control procedures by accurately documenting movements of materials. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work environment. Requirements: Proven experience as a forklift operator, with expertise in operating counterbalance forklifts. Valid certification or license to operate counterbalance forklift. Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to forklift operation. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in task completion. Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
