Summary
For further information on this role, please see the attached detailed Job Description and Person Specification Hold responsibility for a defined clinical area and own caseload, working without direct supervision. Access to advice and support from senior physiotherapists is available, clinical work is not routinely evaluated by senior staff. Supervision with a designated physiotherapist takes the form of formal training, reflective practice and clinical reasoning. Be a source of knowledge and expertise for patients, relatives and colleagues of all disciplines within the Trust. The post holder works closely with all members of the multi-disciplinary team to provide specialist input to a planned programme of co-ordinated care including appropriate and timely discharge. The post holder has a responsibility to share best practice and answer or direct queries from health care professionals, patients and carers nationally. Undertake evidence-based audit and research projects, in conjunction with senior I physiotherapist, to further clinical practice within each rotation and contribute to service development by identifying opportunities to change practise in conjunction with the Band 7
