Summary


Data Programme Manager

North West London

Working closely with senior stakeholders the post holder will be accountable for successful development and delivery of the data programme related to the Federated Data Platform.

The post holder will coordinate all portfolio activities and communicate with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of all the data pipelines from Trust systems and support both transition as well as development and deployment of new products.

This position is critical to the the organisations/ sector to deliver an enabler to significant Digital Transformation across the sector that will drive future sustainability and contribute to the financial stability of the Trust and meet future clinical delivery.

There will be a constant stream of conflicting priorities that must be managed within the team, therefore exceptional technical, organisation and communication skills are required, ensuring that complex data/ information can be explained in non-technical/business terms and vice versa.

Critical to the success of this role (and therefore the service) will be the ability to build robust relationships with other digital staff and the departments Senior Stakeholders across the sector.




• Working with the Data Engineers/ Developers, contributing to the development and implementation of data platform and its strategy across the organisation 
• Taking responsibility for ensuring standard processes and defined data engineering best practice is embedded within their team(s)
• Ensuring that data engineering pipelines fulfil the requirements of federated data platform and are appropriately transitioned to relevant service team post implementation
• Gathering requirements from key stakeholder groups and using influencing skills to manage expectations 
• Defining and developing end-to-end data management within federated data platform and optimisation and reviewing processes designed by peers and direct reports  
• Using data engineering expertise to architect the most appropriate solution design to suit a particular requirement or set of requirements 
• Selecting and using the most appropriate language and tools to develop data management and optimisation solutions  
• Ensuring that all data engineering pipelines are assured plans in line with Solution Assurance best practice 
• Peer reviewing the code development and testing by others within NWL/ NHSE
