Summary
Teaching AssistantWe are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated teaching assistant. The successful candidate will have experience supporting children within the classroom.Vacancy hours - We are ideally looking for Monday-Friday 8.45am 2.45pm. However would consider part-time for the right candidate. Playground supervision is required. Term-time only 39 weeks per year, including inset days.Salary - £23,083 FTE actual £15,169Key Roles and Responsibilities:Following the direction of the class teacher and SENCO delivering learning support either one to one, small group or in the wider classroom setting.Support children to access the curriculum so they make progress with their learning.The successful candidate will be confident in understanding the different challenges children with additional needs face and have an understanding of strategies which will help them to thrive.They will be empathetic and nurturing.Essential Qualifications/Experience:
An excellent level of written and spoken English and Maths is required for this role. Knowledge of Read, Write Inc phonics scheme is desirable but not essential.We can offer you a fulfilling role in a school with a strong community feel, with motivated and enthusiastic children.
