Summary

Your new company


A multidisciplinary consultancy who provide tailored solutions to environmental issues, they are experts in Ecology, Air Quality and more. Their collaborative team tackle projects across the UK from residential to renewables. The scope of projects can also vary giving you a more diverse experience base, they have worked on projects large and small from single dwellings to large solar farms.
They are looking for experienced and confident individuals who hold one or more protected species licenses. In terms of location, they are open to submissions across England and Wales as they can operate remotely and generate local business.

Your new role


As a Senior Ecologist you will use your existing knowledge base to aid in the operation of a successful consultancy. Leading on a range of projects will develop your skills and make you a well-rounded and confident consultant. Main duties could include;

  • Preliminary Ecological Appraisals
  • Protected Species surveys (Bats, GCN, Reptiles and more)
  • Vegetation Classification surveys
  • Biodiversity Net Gain calculations
  • Habitat Regulation Assessments
  • Ecological management and mitigation
  • Provide strategies to a diverse client base
  • Client / stakeholder liaising
  • Report writing


What you'll need to succeed


  • A degree in an Ecology, Environment or relevant subject
  • Holder of one or more protected species license(s)
  • Experience in an Ecological consultancy
  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A full UK driving license
