Are you looking to gain long-term experience working within a mainstream primary school ahead of embarking on your Teacher Training?
An Outstanding 3 form-entry Primary School in Harrow are currently looking for recent university Graduates with teaching aspirations to join their support staff team the 2024 academic year supporting children in KS1 and KS2 classes. This is a fantastic opportunity for passionate graduates to gain hands-on experience in a mainstream primary school.
Responsibilities will include:
- Delivering tailored learning activities and providing learning support to individuals and small groups of children.
- Engaging, motivating, and encouraging learners.
- Supporting children's social and emotional development.
- Assisting the Class Teacher in managing behaviour.
- Record keeping and administrative tasks, such as preparing resources.
Applicant Specification:
- A relevant degree or TA qualification.
- Previous experience working with children.
- Experience supporting children with SEN.
- Passionate about providing superb standard of academic and social support.
- Supportive, friendly, and outgoing personality.
