Summary

An exciting opportunity has become available for a SENCO at an independent, specialist Academy providing high quality education for boys and girls aged 11-19.

Requirements:
- SENCO Qualification or be close to completing
- QTS
- Experience working as a SENCO
- A passion for ensuring all young people succeed.
- Experience of working effectively with local authorities
- Able to work collaboratively within a supportive, committed, and successful staff team.
- Have high aspirations for yourself and for others, and a commitment to further development.
- A robust understanding of SEND Code of practice
- An understanding of SEMH education and how to support the additional needs associated with SEMH pupils
- A multi-talented professional with great leadership and communication skills; endless enthusiasm, resilience and vision, and a commitment to both the education and the achievement of each young person.
