Summary

Are you a skilled domestic joiner looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in your community? We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team in Newcastle, working on empty properties for a local authority.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a range of joinery tasks including fitting doors, windows, skirting boards, and other fixtures.
  • Full kitchen fitting work.
  • Repair and replace damaged or worn-out joinery components.
  • Ensure all work is completed to high standards of quality and safety.
  • Work collaboratively with other tradespeople and contractors to complete projects efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a joiner in a domestic setting.
  • NVQ level 2 or equivalent within the trade.
  • CSCS card.
  • Asbestos awareness.
  • Proficient in using joinery tools and equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation.
