Summary
Are you a skilled domestic joiner looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in your community? We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team in Newcastle, working on empty properties for a local authority.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of joinery tasks including fitting doors, windows, skirting boards, and other fixtures.
- Full kitchen fitting work.
- Repair and replace damaged or worn-out joinery components.
- Ensure all work is completed to high standards of quality and safety.
- Work collaboratively with other tradespeople and contractors to complete projects efficiently.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a joiner in a domestic setting.
- NVQ level 2 or equivalent within the trade.
- CSCS card.
- Asbestos awareness.
- Proficient in using joinery tools and equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation.
