Summary

PERMANENT ROLE - MONDAY TO FRIDAY - NIGHTSHIFT - £28,392.00 PER ANNUM

Wincanton are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our great team in Portbury Bristol, supporting with the day-to-day warehouse activity.

  • £28,392.00 per annum
  • Night Shifts
  • Monday to Friday
  • 22:00 - 06:00
  • 40 hours per week with Paid Breaks
  • 28 days annual leave including Bank Holidays

How will you contribute?

  • Warehouse duties including picking stock accurately and efficiently using handheld device to scan
  • Items to be loaded onto pallets
  • Checking of picked stock and assembled loads prior to dispatch
  • Ensuring quality is of the highest standards and all stock is handled with care, so it arrives at our customers in perfect condition
  • Ensuring areas are kept clean and tidy
  • Working in a team environment in a safe manner adhering to site Health & Safety regulations and Safe Systems of Work
  • A range of duties to support the operational efficiency and general housekeeping and hygiene standards of the warehouse and site

What will you bring?

  • Previous warehouse experience is advantageous
  • FLT Counterbalance or reach experience is preferred, but is not mandatory
  • Ability to read and understand instructions
  • Attention to detail to accurately enable the correct picking of stock
  • Have appropriate hand, eye, and foot coordination to effectively use mechanical handling equipment safely
  • You will be reliable, self-motivated, a strong team player and will have a flexible approach to work
