Summary


A vacancy has arisen for a full time Band 3 administrator to come and work within our busy and friendly team in our Pulmonary rehabilitation service

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong attention to detail to provide additional comprehensive administrative support to the team.

The successful candidate will require ability to multi-task and work flexibly to manage the workload in accordance with agreed quality standards and demonstrate a good knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes including Excell, Outlook and Word.

Previous NHS experience would be an advantage but not essential.

The post will be based at Wareham Hospital.

To ensure the provision of a professional and efficient and confidential administration service and a high standard of customer care.

This is a part time post of 22.5 hours per week. You will be required to input data and notes to the clinical record system, book appointments, deal with queries and calls from patients. Manage patient referrals. This should be done alongside the maintenance of computer systems, spreadsheets and databases that are required by the team You will work as part of a very supportive team and training will be provided as needed.

To attend meetings as required and take and transcribe formal minutes at meeting

To liaise with other agencies and units including other NHS healthcare Trusts; GP Practices; requesting, providing, and receiving confidential information as directed by the line manager.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
