Ecolab has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Analyst to join their team based in the UK Headquarters in Northwich. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive saalry of £34,000 per annum.

The Operations Analyst role:

Client Services is a Tier 2 team that are considered the face of Enterprise Technology Solutions who support our user base. The role involves both remote and face-to-face interactions and offers opportunities to provide support and develop working relationships across Europe.

Responsibilities as our Operations Analyst:


Providing IT support to end users based across Market North regions of the UK, Republic of Ireland, Netherlands, Nordics and Switzerland
Liaising with partners and vendors on IT related user support
Performing incident and problem analysis to resolve or escalate incidents and requests
Performing implementation support
Attending end-user meetings as requested
Working with ETS global support teams to act as a local ‘hands and eyes’ resource as required to ensure regional infrastructure is maintained at a high service availability level
Creation and upkeep of Knowledge Base articles
Creation of training materials for end users at all IT knowledge levels

What we’re looking for in our Operations Analyst:


Degree and or relevant qualification in technical field and at least 3 years of IT experience including 2 years in a technical customer support role
Full driving license as travel to provide onsite support to various UK sites required
A valid passport as the opportunity to travel within the European region is part of the role
Customer service focused skills. The role will require working with end users at all levels of Ecolab with various levels of IT knowledge and directly supporting top-level management and global senior executives remotely and in person


Familiarity with:


Microsoft O365.
Microsoft Windows 10 & 11 OS and applications support.
Apple macOS and applications support.
Mobile Phone (Android & iOS) and Mobile Device Management.
Remotely supporting end users.
ITIL processes and ticketing systems (ServiceNow).
Microsoft Autopilot deployment, Entra and Intune.
VPN, remote/wireless access connectivity configuration and maintenance.
FollowMe printing (PrinterLogic, Ysoft\SafeQ)
Working in office and production environments


Developed skills in the following areas:


Troubleshooting and problem analysis.
Oral and written communications in English with an ability to explain processes and resolutions clearly.
Presentation and training skills.
Team oriented, a willingness to help other team members is vital.
Dealing with people face to face.
