Summary

We have created this new community OT rotation between Community Therapies (long term disease management, rehab, complex equipment, posture and positioning, moving and handling etc) and ERS (rapid response admission avoidance and facilitated discharge from hospital, working with patients with an array of medical & social needs).

Both teams benefit from their own dedicated OT and PT Lead, and as such you will receive professional line management and supervision from your B7 OT, alongside regular peer support opportunities. You will manage your own caseload, get involved in service development and provide clinical & operational supervision to junior staff. We will support you with your ongoing CPD including specialist study days, Masters modules in relevant subjects and clinical supervision to name but a few. We are proud of our accomplishments, our strong MDT approach and our constant evolution and development.

We are a 7 day, 8am-9pm service, although our clinicians usually finish by 6pm. Ability to drive is essential for this Community role.

We would happily welcome your visit to meet the team and Team Leads, talk to the other clinicians and non-registered staff in the teams prior to your application and/or interview.
