Summary

Communications and Partnerships Manager

The New Theatre Oxford is the main commercial theatre in Oxford and has a capacity of nearly 1,800 people. There has been a theatre on the corner of George Street for almost 170 years. The first theatre built in 1836 was known commonly as the 'Vic', and later as the 'Theatre Royale' and has previously been the home of Oxford University Dramatic Society. The theatre was damaged by fire in 1892 and enlarged in 1908, and the present building dates from 1933, opening in 1934. Our venue hosts touring productions ranging from musicals, comedians, music events, and host private conferences.

As our Communications and Partnerships Manager, you will seek out and secure opportunities to initiate and grow engagement with a wide range of businesses and partners from across Oxfordshire and beyond. Your work as our Communications and Partnerships Manager will deliver exciting events and high-calibre experiences. You will raise the media profile of the venue and its shows by creating campaign ideas, partnerships, content or stunts that get widely noticed and drive ticket sales. All whilst nurturing and managing a strong network of relationships with the media, local organisations and influencers to create earned reach.
