Location: Greater Manchester area , Perm, Full Time

Due to expanding new business, we are recruiting 1 more Trainee Careers Adviser to join our Flexible Response Team, working across the Greater Manchester area.

Help us deliver on a range of exciting new programmes, including Careers Advice in schools, as well as working with young people who have disengaged from learning. We will fund your Level 6 Careers Adviser professional qualification and give you the experience you need to achieve this degree level certificate.

Are you looking for a role where you can make a real difference? Earn a decent salary whilst you’re working towards a nationally recognised professional careers qualification? Have you got experience of helping people to progress, but never had the opportunity to get the full Careers Adviser qualification?

After a period of training and shadowing, you will work across a number of community locations, delivering one-to-one careers guidance, aspirational/motivational group work and supporting young people schools. Whilst you are training, you will move between our teams to give you a broad experience and understanding of the different client groups we support.

We invest in your training and development to help you to continuously grow in the role.

We have our own accredited Training Centre who will support you through your Level 6 qualification, (worth £3,045) which takes people approx. 18 months.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference to young people and local communities, it is a very rewarding role.

If you have relevant experience of supporting people to succeed, full training will be given to enable you to do the job. We provide laptop, mobile phone and relevant resources. You will be well equipped to deliver the role. As a member of the Flexible Response Team, you will be based in our Head Office in Liverpool City Centre, but could be delivering services in any of the boroughs of Merseyside, so we need you to be able to travel to different sites. Travel expenses will be paid for excess travel, beyond your base of work.
