Summary

Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm Based at our Walton Summit office.

Role
Forbes Solicitors business development team is looking for a Business Development Assistant to support our teams and sectors across the firm. This is a full-time role working 36.25 hours per week, Monday- Friday, based at our Gordon House office, with the option for hybrid working available.

Reporting into the Business Development Manager you will be a highly motivated, commercially astute individual, who will help move forward business development plans that will drive the growth of the teams across the Firm.

You will have a natural flare for stakeholder engagement and the drive to make things happen.

The role will be responsible for delivering successful outcomes such as:

Supporting with producing proposals, capability documents and assisting with tenders to support in the winning of new clients/ retention of existing clients;
Supporting with pulling together research on potential new targets and opportunities to help drive growth across all teams;
Supporting with organising targeted business development events, training sessions and hospitality;
Logging and monitoring of external referrals to manage reciprocity;
Updating Partner with information such as dormant clients to ensure our data is accurate;
Supporting on Business Development projects as and when required.

We will be progressing applicants to the next stage based on applications demonstrating the following the knowledge, experience and skills:

5 GCSE's at Grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) ;
have or working towards 3 - A Levels at grade C and above (or equivalent, i.e. BTEC)
have good communication skills, both written and verbal;
ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and undertake various administrative duties;
have proven competence in their IT skills (Outlook, Word, and other systems experience);
have the ability to work as part of a team;
have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills;
have an interest in long term development/progression in the department;
