Summary


We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and experienced Band 7 Dietitian to work as part of a team of nine renal dietitians to provide a Specialist Renal Dietetic service at Hammersmith Hospital and its satellite dialysis units.

This post is a specialist dietetic position which requires the ability for independent dietetic work within an MDT to manage the dietetic care of patients under the West London & Renal and Transplant which looks after over 3500 people, including nine satellite haemodialysis units and is the largest facility of its kind in Europe.

We are a large, high profile, friendly department involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical training. We also facilitate dietetic student placements in years 1, 2 and 3 and also teach other health professionals such as nursing and therapy colleagues. The department is forward thinking and our service delivery is very much influenced by the audits & research projects we carry out which are supported by excellent IT facilities & Quality Improvement initiatives. The department also supports robust CPD for all staff members.

You will be responsible for the delivery of a high quality, evidence-based clinical service primarily to patients undergoing dialysis at Northwick Park dialysis unit. Additionally this post covers Watford Dialysis unit (2 days per month) and Hammersmith Hospital (2 days per month). This post can be taken up as a part time or full-time position. If considered as a full-time position there may be the possibility of working from home one day per week.
