Summary

Join our dynamic team at Cheshire House!

We are currently seeking an individual to become an integral part of a supportive 2:1 team, dedicated to helping a young lady access various activities and the broader community. If you have a passion for outdoor adventures and swimming, this is the perfect fit for you. While having a driver's license is a plus, it's not mandatory.

The role entails working 19 hours per week, starting at 10 am over five days. This typically consists of four 4-hour shifts and one 3-hour shift.

As a Support Worker with Leonard Cheshire you will become part of a fantastic team. Every day is different, but here are just some of the duties you will do:

• Assistance with daily life tasks including personal care, medication and mealtimes.
• Escort and assist in and around the service, at external events and appointments.
• Supporting our Person Centered approach, encouraging maximum independence for our customers and helping to achieve individual aspirations.
• Maintain up to date and accurate records.

We offer a wide range of employee rewards to include:

• Wagestream: Access to your earned pay before payday.
• Free Blue Light Card.
• Complimentary PVG Scheme membership.
• Contribution to the company pension scheme with a competitive life cover benefit.
• Generous and flexible annual leave, with the option to sell back (salary sacrifice).
• Access to a Cash Health Plan at preferential rates.
• Comprehensive training tailored to your role.
• Excellent opportunities for personal and professional development through our apprenticeship programs and the chance to earn recognized qualifications.
• Unlimited bonuses through our Refer a Friend scheme.
• Access to cycle-to-work benefits (salary sacrifice).
• Employee Assistance Programme and much more!

If this sounds of interest to you, please email Lisa-Marie Peters on lisa-marie.peters@leonardcheshire.org or 01463 713377 for further details.
