Summary
Warehouse Supervisor:
Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products
Ensure that inventory levels are accurate and that orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
Train and oversee warehouse staff, ensuring that they follow safety and operational procedures
Communicate with other departments to coordinate shipping and receiving schedules
Develop and implement procedures to optimize warehouse efficiency and reduce costs
Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and conveyor belts
Maintain records of inventory and shipments, and prepare reports on warehouse activity for management
Driver:
Transport products or goods from the warehouse to customer locations or other designated destinations
Load and unload products onto the delivery truck or vehicle, and ensure that they are secured properly
Plan delivery routes to ensure that deliveries are made on time and in the most efficient manner
Follow safety procedures while driving, and ensure that the delivery vehicle is maintained and serviced regularly
Communicate with customers to confirm delivery times and locations, and provide excellent customer service
Keep records of deliveries and maintain accurate logs of driving hours and mileage
Assist with other warehouse tasks, such as receiving and storing products, as needed.
