JOB PURPOSE
Under the direction of the Marketing & Communications Manager you will be responsible for staying informed about the current market, industry trends, and the competitive landscape. You will also help strategise and implement successful marketing and advertising plans for the Company.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Duties
Key Tasks
• Plan, implement and deliver successful direct marketing and advertising campaigns
• Analyse data and identify key behaviours and trends in customer activity to maximise sales opportunities and improve customer retention
• Monitor key performance indicators to track the success of marketing campaigns and incorporate your findings into future campaigns for better results
• Write detailed corporate communications and subject specific reports as required
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, write reports, and interpret findings
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sponsorship revenue goals
• Contribute to the development of appropriate corporate operational and strategic plans
• Act as the ‘day to day’ contact with relevant external organisations in relation to marketing activity
• Support internal colleagues to ensure that marketing activity supports service delivery
• Attend meetings to provide Marketing support
• Attend relevant team meetings to discuss marketing activity and provide appropriate advice and support in respect of all aspects of marketing
• Attend events, fairs, shows etc to represent the Company, if required
• Undertake service or site audits and prepare appropriate action recommendations
• Contribute to the planning and allocation of the budget appropriate to Marketing
• Contribute to the development of effective communications mechanisms both internally and externally

Health and Safety
Key Tasks
• To comply with the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and all supplementary legislation

Training
• To attend regular staff training sessions, be they held in-house or externally
• To deliver in-house training as required

General
• To ensure you are physically fit to carry out your duties at all times
• To carry out other reasonable duties as may be required
• Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection guidelines
