As Early Years Lead you will provide professional leadership within the setting, oversee compliance of regulatory requirements, and ensure the setting delivers the highest standards of care and education to all children. You will have the ability to organise and prioritise tasks and be proactive and solution-focused, along with promoting a reflective practice throughout the setting to encourage a culture of development, learning and improvement amongst staff.

In line with the EYFS, you will ensure compliance with the standards set to provide an enabling environment ensuring:

• strong partnerships with parents/carers
• equality of opportunity and anti-discriminatory practice to include and support every child
• a child-centred approach which is fundamental to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of every child

The Early Years Lead will be room based and will have the confidence to lead the Early Years team as an exceptional practitioner with a flexible and enthusiastic approach and good communication skills. This role will also include identifying areas of training for Practitioners to ensure that their practice and skills are current and of the highest standards, inspiring children to unlock and reach their potential.

Jigsaw is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share and value this commitment.
