We are looking for a Back of House Operative to join us at Newcastle United Football Club.

A few things about you

Our Back of House team is at the heart of everything we do, so it’s important that fantastic customer service is always at the forefront! If you are a friendly, and approachable individual with great communication skills, this would be the perfect role for you!

Sodexo embeds a strong Safety culture in everything we do. There will be company procedures to follow alongside our hygiene and Health and Safety practises, so it is vital that you'll champion this.

Package Description

• 40 hours per week
• £12.00 per hour
• 5 days out of 7 per week

Main Responsibilities

Setting up function suites, bars and kiosks as per function sheet and providing all necessary mis-en-place in the most efficient and productive way setting as far ahead as is practicable and accommodating changes as necessary. To ensure that all areas of the facility are maintained to an exceptional standard of cleanliness and appearance. To ensure that customer requirements and satisfaction are met throughout the day and good customer relations prevail at all times. Ensuring all crockery, cutlery and glassware is polished Clearing store rooms, function rooms, bars and kiosks of all equipment once the room is completed. To make use of quiet periods during the day to ensure the necessary preparation is done for the following day. Ensuring the safe and secure storage of equipment and stock. Ensure that deliveries are collected in a timely manner and re-distributed to the relevant place Ability to work front of house within meetings and events encompassing both front of house and back of house roles including but not limited to setting rooms, laying up, polishing and serving both food and beverages. To ensure that you are entirely customer focused and ensure that excellent customer service is delivered at all times.
