Summary

HGV Hot Box Driver

Location: Plymouth
Hours of work: 7.15am until 16.30pm
Salary: £13 - £14 per hour DOE based on 40 hours per week

Our client is looking for an experienced HGV hot box driver to join a highways tarmac gang.

The work will be in the Plymouth area and working within a 3 man gang.

You will have experience of collecting tarmac from the suppliers and assisting the gang with potholes, patching and footways.

Successful candidates for the role of Hot Box Driver should have:-

Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to carry out work to a high standard
Good communication skills

Applicants must have:

CSCS card
HGV 2 driver license
Good timekeeping skills
Willingness and flexibility to undertake some shifts out of normal working hours (at overtime rates)
Willingness to carry out other tasks upon request

These will be PAYE positions so you will benefit from:

Accrued Holiday Pay from day one
Pension contributions (after a qualifying period)
Weekly Pay
No Umbrella payments or fees
Only Tax and National Insurance deductions and this will be shown on your payslip
