    This exciting primary school in Sefton is looking to secure the services of enthusiastic and committed Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team from October 2023. The school is located near Formby and has a real community feel to it, having a superb reputation across the area for the dedication they have to giving children the best possible education experience. It is a unique building with large outdoor play areas which allow the teaching staff to be creative when planning lessons to make use of these areas when possible.

    As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be tasked with providing support to the class teacher in the setting up and running of lessons and activities. You will work with children in group and one-to-one settings to provide support and encouragement. At times, you will work with children who may have fallen behind with work or require the additional support to complete the tasks set. The role may also include some work in an SEN capacity - experience in this area is preferred but not essential. The school offer bespoke training to staff and are looking for the right character that fits in well with the school!

    The role is due to run until the end of the academic year initially with a view to this extending from September onwards. It is a great opportunity for a graduate looking for essential experience prior to pursuing teacher training in the future.
