Summary
Culford School are looking for enthusiastic and reliable people to join our cleaning team. Working together, we ensure our school buildings, boarding houses and sports centre are cleaned to a high standard for pupils, staff and visitors.
Duties and Responsibilities
● vacuuming and mopping of hard and soft floors
● spot cleaning of any spillages
● wiping furniture, ledges, paintwork, pipework, doors
● emptying and cleaning bins
● cleaning toilets, surrounds and sanitary fixtures using correct colour cloths
● cleaning bathrooms and showers in boarding houses and Sports Centre.
● replenishing toiletry supplies
● straightening furniture where appropriate
● polishing glass and brass
● checking and closing any windows and doors
● making up beds for lets within holiday periods
● provide deep cleans within holiday periods
● any other duties appropriate to the role as allocated to you by the cleaning supervisor/manager.
Part time, 20 hours a week. The role is all year, with occasional weekend work required.
Position One
Monday to Friday, 9am – 1pm
Position Two
Monday to Friday, 6am - 10am
Some flexibility may be required and times may be changed to suit the changing needs of the school. There will also be the opportunity for overtime, depending on school lettings and functions.
