Summary

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual who can help me over the summer months as my Personal Assistant / Property Manager for long term rental properties in Newquay. In this varied role, you will provide administrative support to the Andy and assist with the day-to-day operations of our properties. The ideal candidate will have strong clerical skills, be proficient in data entry, and possess excellent phone etiquette.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing all aspects of property operations
- Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling tenant inquiries
- Maintain accurate records of tenant information, lease agreements, and rent payments
- Coordinate property maintenance and repairs with tenants and contractors
- Conduct property inspections
- Assist in marketing vacant units and conducting tenant screenings
- Handle tenancy renewals and move-in/move-out processes
- Ensuring properties are ready for viewings and move ins
- Setting up systems and processes
- Perform other duties as assigned by Andy

The successful applicant will need to have excellent people skills and should be someone who enjoys organising things and should be happy to work on their own. Ideally you will be flexible with hours and able to increase and decrease as demands require, for example I can already see June is going to be a busy month. I have 3 move outs, which means we will need to be advertising and doing viewings for at least 3 properties then getting the properties ready for the new tenants moving in, checking them into the properties, as well as check-outs for the outgoing tenants.

My Key Goals this Summer for the Role:
Set up systems and procedures
Ensure properties are filled quickly and efficiently with suitable long term tenants
Role will be a trial to find out how well it goes working with an assistant
Expected hours 10 to 20 hours per week (I expect an average of 15 hours per week, this is part the reason for the temporary role so I can gauge what is required longer term)

Expected Term of Role: Late May or Early June to Mid September (if candidate is excellent there is potential for a permanent role)

Salary: £11.50 - £12 per hour
