JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To join our IT team, we are looking for a highly skilled IT Network Consultant to bolster our dynamic team. This is an opportunity for you to influence the success of our firm and our clients through the implementation of robust IT network solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
As an IT Network Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and evaluating the organisation’s networking environments, encompassing both software and hardware components. You will be entrusted with monitoring network performance and providing strategic recommendations to enhance network quality. Your responsibilities will include:
• Network Implementation: Implementing and evaluating new networking environments, integrating software and hardware solutions to meet evolving business needs.
• Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitoring network performance metrics and proactively making recommendations to optimize network efficiency and reliability.
• User Support: Creating user accounts and delivering high-quality troubleshooting services to ensure seamless user experiences and minimal disruptions.
• Network Security: Ensuring the integrity and security of our network infrastructure by implementing robust security measures. You will be responsible for investigating and resolving network faults promptly and comprehensively.
• Documentation and Training: Drafting comprehensive operational documentation and delivering tailored support and training sessions to empower users with the knowledge and skills to leverage network resources effectively.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT Network Consultant in a technology-driven Accountancy firm/environment is a must.
• Proven experience in implementing and evaluating complex networking environments, with a strong command of both software and hardware components.
• Expertise in network performance monitoring and optimization.
• Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting network issues and providing timely resolutions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Capacity to write operational documentation and deliver engaging training sessions to end-users.
