Summary

Chief Finance Officer, King’s Lords Treasurer’s Remembrancer [CFO0424]

About the Role:

We are looking for an accomplished and enthusiastic person to join our team in the King’s Lords Treasurer and Remembrancer. This is a specialised service which focuses on dealing with ownerless property in Scotland.

As our Chief Finance Officer, you will take full responsibility for the development of the KLTR’s financial strategy, the preparation of our monthly and annual accounts, and fostering a culture of growth and collaboration. Your role will also include being the principal point of contact for our annual audit as ensuring that KLTR adheres to relevant guidance under the Government Financial Reporting Manual and the Scottish Public Finance Manual.

This is a key leadership position within KLTR in which you will be working closely with the Chief Executive, the KLTR Board and annual accounting board, and external organisations such as Audit Scotland and the Information Commissioners Office: driving continuous improvement and delivering a programme of work that enhances our finance processes and informs good decision making and establishes the organisation as a leader in good financial governance and compliance practice.
