Summary
Do you have a level 3 childcare qualification? Are you passionate about helping children reach their full potential in the Early Years. If so-look no further- we are looking for an experienced, qualified, fun, responsible, and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join our fantastic team based in our home-from-home setting in Crewe
We believe in providing the best quality childcare for our children and parents from our beautiful setting. The best way to do this is to ensure our staff are happy and settled. We provide a warm and tranquil home-from-home environment. Our aim is to create learning opportunities to allow our children to learn through play and explore creatively.
Our staff wellbeing is paramount. We ensure regular training, we have an open door policy, wellness days and wellness treats. There are lots of opportunities for career progression within our 3 settings. We are closed between Christmas and New Year allowing for our employees to rest and enjoy the festivities. Employee of the month and long service awards, plus a performance based bonus paid every 6 months!
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Ensure that all children attending the setting are kept safe.
They are provided with stimulating play experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
To observe, support, and extend children's learning.
Plan appropriately for children using the EYFS framework.
Work in partnership with parents/carers and other family members.
Demonstrate good practice with regard to special needs and inclusion.
Ensuring that all legislation in relation to special needs, safeguarding and Health and Safety is complied with.
The ideal applicant:
Must be at least Level 3 qualified
Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
Experience in working with children and families
Extensive knowledge of Safeguarding
Experience in working in partnership with parents and outside agencies.
To be friendly and caring, to be able to use your initiative.
