Support Worker – Retford - £11.45ph
Typical Shifts are: Mornings - 07:30-14:30 & Afternoons - 14:30-21:30

We’re on the hunt for a genuinely caring, hands-on Support Worker with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support.
As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!
Our Mason House residential service in Retford is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. Mason House is a residential care home providing specialist support to meet the needs of people living with Prader-Willi syndrome. Although there is no cure for Prader-Willi syndrome, our goal is to help people lead healthy, fulfilling lives with support from an expert team who understand the condition.
Within the main home, Mason house can support up to six adults, plus there’s two external flats – perfect for those looking for more independent living. Alongside our six en-suite bedrooms, there’s lots of communal areas within this home, including a spacious lounge, kitchen, dining room, and conservatory. We have a spacious garden, which is perfect for getting active and playing games outdoors, as wells as an allotment plot, ideal for planting fruit and vegetables – our way of encouraging a healthy lifestyle for the people we support.
This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.
