Summary
My client is a main contractor based in South London, seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join their London based projects valued up to £15 million across various sectors including education, health care, retail, and leisure.
As a Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will be expected to oversee all projects from first stages of procurement (tendering, pricing etc) to completion.
Your responsibilities will include cost estimation, procurement, contract administration, and cost control. Leading a team of talented Quantity Surveyors, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards of quality.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor for at least 8 years.
- Expertise in Refurbishment and Fit-out
- Track record of managing projects with a value of up to £15 million.
- Strong communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of cost management.
- Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Experience managing a team of Quantity Surveyors
- Able to travel to sites in London and office in South London
