Registered Nurse band 5, required to work in this Outpatient department.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 7.5 hours a day, (shift patterns to cover opening hours of the department which are 08:00hrs to 21:00hrs).

Both Adults and paediatric patients are seen for face to face consultations within the rooms. With respiratory and cardiac conditions. Investigations carried out on site, include baseline physical nursing assessments.

Patients attend for respiratory, thoracic, cardiology, cardiac and vascular care.

If you have a working knowledge of IT system EPIC this would be an advantage.

You will work closely with medical consultants, private patients’ nursing team, administration team and other multidisciplinary professionals.



The management of the day to day running of the clinics.

Running nurse led services, such as pre assessment/pre-admission and wound care management.

Providing clinical nursing support to our consultants.

Working closely with the rest of the private outpatients’ nursing, administration team and other multidisciplinary professionals. Ensuring quality care and clinically safe, patient journey.

With satisfactory patient experience from the Private Outpatient team.

The workload can be very demanding managing the day to day organisation of the outpatient service and carrying out clinical tasks for the on site clinics, such as:
• Phlebotomy, ( proven skills for this task is a must).
• Nursing assessments with tasks including resting 12 lead ECG's and spirometry testing.
• Wound care management including suture and surgical clip removal.
• Administrative jobs including the assisting with booking post consultation investigations and follow-up consultations for our patients.
