Shift pattern the shift pattern is working 4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on, 4 nights off. Working 12-hour shifts so you must be able to work these shifts.

-SIA License
-Must hold a full clean manual or automatic driver's licence.
-Male and female officers are required.

Job Overview
-To protect the port facilities restricted areas in compliance with the ISPS code
-To protect our customer's property, people and/or assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the sites published Assignment Instructions (AI's)
-
Main Duties
Operations
-Gate house duties including operating gates and barriers to allow access/egress.
-Searching of persons, vehicles and plant machinery as required
-Pass issuing/checking.
-Patrolling the restricted areas as required by the supervisory team.
-Responding to incidents as directed by the supervisory and management team.
-This role will involve working outside in all weathers (PPE Provided)
-The security of the port is operational every day of the year.
-
Training
-Full training to undertake your role will be provided.
-Continuous training via E-Learning is available.
-Additional training is available for other site-specific roles such as Emergency First Aid, supervisory roles, specialised driving roles, front of house positions etc if you wish to progress your career further.
Security and Health & Safety
-Look out for, and to immediately report, any Health & Safety hazards, or potential hazards, on site.
-To maintain professional conduct in the face of difficult situations and challenging customers.
-Training to become a Live safe champion on site.
What we are looking for:
Are you smart in appearance?
Do you have good Verbal and written communication skills?
Can you write reports?
Do you have the ability to work on own initiative and also within a team?
Do you possess basic computer skills to operate certain equipment?
Do you have ability to communicate with people at all levels including outside agencies and authorities and also the Client.
