Northumbria Coast and Country Cottages, part of the Sykes Holiday Cottages family, are recruiting for our latest Laundry Operative to join our dedicated Laundry department at our Seahouses offices.

Paying a salary of £22,308 / 37.5 hours per week / Tuesday to Saturday / 9am-5.30pm
Plus access to our annual STIP scheme up to 10% of your salary

With a keen eye for detail and a solid work ethic, you will hit the ground from day one, assisting with all aspects of laundering our linen, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and reporting any issues/faults with items.
Using your skills in communication, organisation and task management, we are looking for those keen to support during our busy peak and super peak booking season, ensuring all linen and towels are cleaned to a high standard and ready to go out to properties including sorting, washing, drying, ironing and packing all laundry ready for our guests arrival.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated, service-driven individual to join our close-knit Laundry team, offering fantastic company benefits and a great culture and working environment!
A full, clean driving licence is essential as part of this role, as well as excellent communication skills and team work!
Whilst experience in a similar role is advantageous, we will provide everything you need to succeed, training you up within our bustling team and supporting you every step of the way!

- Remaining calm under pressure
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Flexible attitude to work and working hours
- Strong problem-solving skills
- IT literate and able to update stock controls
- Full clean driving licence

- Good communication skills – both written and verbal
- Desire to learn new skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience as a Laundry Assistant
