Summary
Responsibilities :
• Monitor security alerts and incidents; analyse data and trends to identify
potential security threats.
• Respond promptly to security incidents and provide thorough post-event
analyses.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Work collaboratively with IT teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities.
• Develop and implement incident response plans.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to contain and mitigate security
incidents.
• Conduct security awareness training sessions for employees.
• Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies, standards,
and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Manage and maintain security infrastructure, including firewalls, antivirus, and
intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Create and maintain security documentation, including security procedures,
guidelines, and knowledge base articles.
** Most of these task are performed for our clients.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related
field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a cyber security role.
• Hands-on experience with security technologies and tools.
• Good to have one or more relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM,
CompTIA Security+, CEH).
• Proficiency in security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, etc.).
• Knowledge of network protocols and operating systems.
• Experience with security assessments and penetration testing tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
