If you like working with a team in a friendly and fast paced environment, then we could have the opportunity for you. We are looking for an enthusiastic team member who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and always going that extra mile to ensure guests leave us with a smile.

The main responsibilities of this role are food and beverage service to the many guests, students and staff at the RAU. We provide these services in both our classic Main Dining Hall as well as other areas around the campus, including our Bathurst Wing and Tithe Barn.

These services include the day to day running of our canteen, as well as our bespoke functions and events that we run all year round, for both internal and external guests. These include everything from our society balls to weddings. We also run bars and provide support in our coffee shop, so this role will really give you a taste of all the hospitality industry has to offer.

We are looking for someone with a keen interest in hospitality work and who also has a friendly and hardworking attitude. Experience in the sector is desirable, but training in all areas will be provided. A basic understanding of food safety would also be desirable, as well as any other hospitality experience you may have.
No two days at the RAU are the same and we are proud to be supporting current and future British agriculture.

The RAU is an equal opportunities employer and we particularly welcome applications from black and minority ethnic candidates as they are underrepresented within the RAU at this level.
