Summary
Pipe Fitter/Plumber
(Self Employed)
Job duties include:
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems and materials required
- Install piping systems, fixtures, and equipment
- Measure, cut, and assemble pipe sections and fittings
- Test piping systems for leaks using pressure gauges and other equipment
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure efficient project completion
- Follow safety procedures and regulations on job sites
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid CSCS card minimum Blue Plumber/Pipe fitter card
- Previous experience as a pipe fitter/plumber
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of plumbing systems
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From £20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week, Monday to Friday 7:30 - 16:30
