The Psychological Health Services team provides psychological support for patients undergoing treatment within a range of departments across University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust.

We are leading a project to improved the psychological care of adult cancer patients across the SWAG (Somerset Wiltshire Avon Gloucestershire) area. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent IT and research skills to join this project as an Assistant Psychologist. The post will be involved primarily in evaluation and service development tasks. It would suit a recent graduate seeking their first Assistant Psychologist role or someone with clinical experience needing to broaden their range of skills.

Short-listed candidates will be asked to complete and submit a work-based task, which will determine final selection for interview. Please note candidates will need to be available to start by 1st June 2024 to be considered for the role.

The post holders are expected to be eligible for membership of the British Psychological Society at Graduate Basis for Registration having achieved either a 2:1 honours degree, or higher, in psychology or having completed a British Psychological Society accredited psychology conversion course.
