Summary
Draig recruitment requires a primary teaching assistant to work in a primary mainstream school in Flintshire. The role will involve supporting children of low-level ability and mild autism. As a teaching assistant, you will support children in small groups with reading, literacy, numeracy and skills. This is a welcoming small primary school in rural Flintshire, local bus routes are available accessible from Buckley and surrounding areas.
This role is temporary, working on a part-time basis 1-2 days per week.
The hours of work are 8:45-3:15 pm between any days Monday and Friday. Starts asap.
To be considered for this role you will need:
Experience of supporting children or young people with autism
Be supportive, patient, sensitive and nurturing
Experience working in childcare settings
No qualifications necessary
Additional requirements:
Eligibility to work in the UK
References confirming suitability for role
Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willing to apply
EWC registration or willing to apply
Safeguarding training or willing to take a free course with us
Level 2 / 3 TA free TA courses available (subject to living in Wales)
