Summary
As a carpenter and joiner, you will be responsible for constructing and installing wooden structures, fittings, and fixtures in domestic and commercial buildings.
Responsibilities:
• Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials to construct structures, fittings, and fixtures.
• Install wooden structures, fittings, and fixtures, such as doors, windows, cabinets, and furniture.
• Repair, maintain, and replace existing wooden structures as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a carpenter and joiner in domestic and commercial building construction.
• Knowledge of carpentry and joinery techniques, materials, and tools.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
