Summary
We are delighted to be recruiting a Steelwork Structural Engineer, for our client, a well-established and successful steelwork fabricator.
You will have extensive experience working on steel frame buildings, exposure to detailing would be advantageous, or the desire to learn some aspects of detailing.
You can expect a very good starting salary, together with all the support and friendly working environment you would expect from a privately owned company. Some hybrid/remote working is available for the right candidate.
Structural Engineer duties include:
- Design of structural sections and associated connections where required
- Providing technical/design advice to internal drawing office as required
- Communicating with other team members and project stakeholders as required
- Visits to site as required
Structural Engineer requirements:
- Must hold a professional Engineering qualification.
- Proven experience working as a Structural Engineer on steel framed building projects, either for a fabrication company or a consultancy /main contractor.
- Detailing experience would be advantageous but is not essential, but a desire to learn some aspects is preferable
- Experience working with design and analysis software
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Live in/within a commutable distance of the office near Malton, Yorkshire.
