Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN, RMN, RGN, RNLD) is responsible for providing high-quality care to the residents of the nursing home. They will work closely with the care team to assess the needs of the residents, develop care plans, and implement interventions. The nurse will also be responsible for monitoring the residents' health and providing medication as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assess the needs of the residents and develop care plans.
Implement interventions to meet the residents' needs.
Monitor the residents' health and provide medication as needed.
Manage Medications
Dress wounds and provide wound care.
Provide pain relief and comfort measures.
liaising with families and carers.
Document care and treatment in accordance with the care home's policies and procedures.
Attend training and development opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience:
Registered Nurse qualification - Essential
2+ years of experience working in a care home setting - Desirable
Good understanding of the needs of older adults
Excellent clinical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
