We are looking for a Personal Assistant, near Derby City Centre DE1- to support our female client.
• 6.5 hours per week guaranteed – more hours may be available on a Saturday to suit Employer/Employee
• £11.44 per hour
• Tuesday 9.30am-4.00pm
Our young lady client, who is a powerchair user, is looking for a friendly, social Support Worker.
You would support our client to attend her Drama group, where our client would complete a variety of creative arts and gentle movement activities, including adaptive (seated yoga). You would stay at the group session and accompany/support during breaks, with anything needed etc- or you could get more involved if you feel its for you!!
She would like to enjoy chats, company, crafting, cooking/baking, park walks, cinema, bowling etc and support with indoor and outdoor activities (navigating pavements/roads and possibly using buses as well as adapted cabs, if available).
First Aid training would be an advantage, but not essential, as the client is asthmatic, but this is well controlled and self managed. Also, a bubbly personality and a sense of humour is essential.
Our client is a lovely young woman who attended Derby University studying Creative Expressive Therapies (now Arts for Health), working with students across all pathways, as well as therapeutic arts students.
Please note this is a non-smoking workplace.
Additional hours may be available, for ad hoc activities, but this would be a flexible arrangement to suit both parties.
