As a result of this, we are now seeking to appoint a number of talented individuals with extensive experience in working and/or training in Childcare, Teaching Assistant settings to join our team and play an instrumental role in this high performing department.

What you will do?
You will be passionate about training individuals and have experience of working in a Senior position in an Early Years Childcare setting, with a thorough knowledge of the early years foundation stage or an experienced Teaching Assistant position predominantly in a school environment or an Early Years Childcare setting and be extremely knowledgeable and occupationally competent in the area. You will also hold or be working towards a relevant teaching or assessing qualification and be capable of delivering excellent apprenticeship training both on and off-the-job. The ability to assess to level 3 and beyond would be advantageous.

These are permanent, full-time posts (working 35 hours per week) but consideration will be given to those wishing to work on a part time basis. Starting salary will depend upon an individual’s level of experience. These roles are predominantly home based, with travel to employers and occasional travel to our College campus in Consett, County Durham required; therefore use of your own transport, a current valid driving license and business insurance is essential.
